The Auger Tool allows you to install the auger by hand in combination with a 2×4. Great for both the Deck Foot or Fence Fin installations if you are working in tight spaces or only need to install one or two augers.
Made of 6 ga. (4mm) galvanized steel precisely laser cut to fit the auger drive head. Installs to a 2×4 with two #10 x 2″ screws (included). Drive head fits a 12mm socket.
Secure the tool the middle of a 24″ or 36″ scrap 2×4 and apply elbow grease!
It’s dependable Direct Drive system ensures you can drive the anchor forward or reverse for quick installation. Installs with a handheld ½” impact wrench.
*For floating or free-standing structures where freezing soil conditions exist.
This simple tool and a short length of 2×4 are all you need to install the auger all on your own. An impact wrench is always the fastest way to install. But if you are only installing a single auger or you do not have the required height, you will love this solution.
